Waldo's Gift is a Bristol-based experimental trio formed in 2017, renowned for their dynamic fusion of genres including math rock, post-rock, electronic, and modern jazz. The band comprises guitarist Alun Elliott-Williams, bassist Harry Stoneham, and drummer James Vine. They gained prominence through a weekly residency at The Gallimaufry in Bristol, where their intense, improvisational performances cultivated a devoted following. Their debut album, Malcolm's Law, released on 22 January 2025 via Severn Songs, showcases their complex, energetic sound, recorded entirely in single live takes to capture their raw live energy. The lead single, 'Candifloss', exemplifies their genre-blending approach. Waldo's Gift has performed at notable venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott’s, Jazz Re:freshed, Pizza Express Soho, and Glastonbury Festival.
